Installation of the Galaxy ATC automation system at the airports of Egypt

In early 2016 Azimut and Egyptian National Air Navigation Services Company signed a contract for the supplies of Galaxy ATC Automation System. According to the sources of Kommersant, negotiations have begun before the Russian plane crash over the Sinai Peninsula. Therefore, the agreement signed was formally not a part of measures to improve security at the Egyptian airports.

The contract provided for supply and commissioning of the Galaxy ATC Automation System at the Egypt National Air Navigation Services Company and 5 international airports of Egypt. In June 2018 the Azimut announced the completion of the equipment installation at the Alexandria airport. The company has not reported any other project work done.
