In 2020 the overall trend appears to be continuing. In 1H2020 Egypt was the largest importer of Russian grain across Africa ($515 million), followed by Sudan, Morocco and Tanzania by a large gap: $102 million, $78 million and $57 million respectively. These 4 countries by themselves account for 68% of Russia’s total grain export to Africa.
